Preamble and Scope
This Privacy Policy is established by GoGoJobs Human Resources Limited (the "Company") and applies to the GoGoJobs Macao recruitment platform (the "Platform") that it operates.
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets out the principles and practices that the Platform follows when collecting, using, processing and protecting personal data.
The Platform values and is committed to protecting the personal-data privacy of its users. This Policy applies to all persons using the Platform's services, including jobseekers and recruiting entities.
1. Nature of the Platform and Statement of Roles
Users understand and confirm:
The Platform is an operator of a recruitment-information and technology platform that merely provides systems, technical interfaces, information display and data-transmission support;
The Platform is not an employment agency under Macao law and does not engage in any CV screening, recruitment matching, talent recommendation or hiring decisions;
All conduct that, by law, falls within the business scope of an employment agency, including CV collection, evaluation, recruitment matching, and the active or passive recommendation or push of jobseekers' CVs to employers, is independently handled by Bao Ao Employment Agency, duly licensed under the laws of Macao (Macao Employment Agency Licence No.: 202308).
2. Categories of Personal Data Collected
The Platform may collect and process the following categories of personal data, depending on use:
2.1 Jobseeker Data
Name and contact details;
CV content (including education, work experience, skills, etc.);
Career intentions and related supplementary information;
Technical data on the use of the Platform (e.g., IP address, login records);
Verification data collected during the background-check process (limited to the scope consented to by the jobseeker).
2.2 Employer / Recruiting Entity Data
Company name and contact details;
Recruitment positions and related information;
Platform usage records.
3. Purposes of Use of Personal Data
The collected personal data will be used only for the following lawful and explicit purposes:
Providing and maintaining the Platform's technical and information services;
Assisting jobseekers in using the Platform to find recruitment information;
Provision by Bao Ao Employment Agency of employment-agency services, including CV processing, recruitment matching, and the active or passive recommendation or push of jobseekers' CVs to suitable employers;
Communicating with users on matters relating to the Platform;
Fulfilling legal or regulatory requirements.
Where the jobseeker voluntarily so chooses and provides separate express consent, the Platform and/or the cooperating employment agency may, in order to assist with recruitment matching and improve the clarity and readability of the CV, perform supportive formatting, language polishing or structural reorganisation of the CV submitted by the jobseeker. Such processing is limited to optimisation of expression and presentation, does not involve material modification of the factual content, work experience or qualifications stated in the CV, and does not affect the jobseeker's use of other Platform services.
With the jobseeker's separate express consent, personal data may also be used for the following:
Background checks to verify education, work experience and professional qualifications;
Sharing an objective summary of background-check results with prospective employers that have expressed hiring interest in the jobseeker;
Use of the jobseeker's experience of successful employment through the Platform as a promotional success story (separate consent will be sought for public use involving identifiable data);
Use, after de-identification or anonymisation, for AI model training (including job-matching algorithms, CV analysis, recruitment-trend prediction, etc.);
Use, after de-identification or anonymisation, to build recruitment-talent and industry databases for the Macao market and the international market, for market research and talent-trend analysis;
Each of the above consents is independent and may be withdrawn separately.
4. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Data
In accordance with the law and the principle of data minimisation, personal data may be disclosed to the following recipients:
Bao Ao Employment Agency (as the employment-agency and personal-data controller);
Employers or hiring entities related to recruitment (limited to recruitment and selection purposes);
Service providers offering system, cloud or IT support (limited to technical-processing purposes);
Verified recruiters (when the jobseeker has opted in to the Talent Database or Public CV);
Recipients of background-check results expressly consented to by the jobseeker;
Legal or regulatory authorities (when required by law).
5. Limits of Responsibility after CV Referral
Users understand and agree:
Once a jobseeker's CV has been lawfully recommended, referred or pushed to an employer by Bao Ao Employment Agency, how the employer uses such data, whether to contact, arrange interviews or hire shall be at the employer's discretion;
Any disputes, risks or consequences arising from the employer's subsequent recruitment conduct or hiring decision do not fall within the data-processing responsibility of the Platform or Bao Ao Employment Agency;
The Platform and Bao Ao Employment Agency are not responsible for the employer's hiring results or any employment relationship.
6. Cross-Border Data Processing
Due to system architecture, cloud services or IT operational requirements, personal data may be processed or stored in locations outside the Macao Special Administrative Region. The Platform's primary servers and data-storage facilities are currently located in the Republic of Singapore. The Platform and Bao Ao Employment Agency will adopt reasonable technical and organisational measures (including transmission encryption, access control, data-processing agreements with cloud service providers, and industry-recognised data-security standards) to ensure that cross-border data processing complies with the Macao Personal Data Protection Act. If there are material changes to the location of service providers or storage nodes in the future, the Platform will announce such changes when updating this Policy.
7. Compliant Management of Personal Data
To comply with legal, regulatory and risk-management requirements:
The Platform and/or Bao Ao Employment Agency is entitled to take compliant action with respect to personal data, including restricting use, ceasing referrals or deletion of inaccurate, non-compliant or risky data; such action is limited to lawful and necessary scope.
8. Data Security Measures
The Platform adopts reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access control, encryption and system-security mechanisms, to protect personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure or destruction.
9. User Rights
Users have the following rights under applicable law:
Access to their personal data;
Request to correct inaccurate data;
Request to delete or restrict the processing of their data, where consistent with the law;
Withdraw previously given specific consents (including background checks, success-story promotion, AI training and market database);
Submit complaints or queries regarding data processing.
Channels for exercising the above rights:
Email: [email protected]
The Platform will respond within 15 working days of receiving the request; further notice will be provided if more time is needed due to complexity.
10. Amendments
The Platform reserves the right to amend this Policy as required by law, regulation or service. Amendments take effect upon publication on the Platform. However, where an amendment involves a material change to the collection, use, disclosure or important rights regarding personal data, the Platform will provide notice by in-app notification and/or email at least 14 days prior to the effective date.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Macao Special Administrative Region, with the Macao courts as the courts of first instance.

Upon discovering any personal-data breach that may pose a significant risk to user rights, the Platform will report to the Macao Office for Personal Data Protection within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident;
Where the breach poses a specific and material risk to the affected users, the Platform will, within a reasonable time, notify those users by email and/or in-app notification, including: the nature of the incident, possible impact, remedial measures taken by the Platform, and self-protective measures users may take;
The Platform will continue to review the cause of the incident and take necessary remedial and preventive measures.
